Symposium Details
History
As one of the world’s pioneering biomedical programs, Clemson University’s Department of Bioengineering is internationally recognized for significant contributions in the field of biomaterials engineering. Each year, the Bioengineering Department welcomes its alumni back to the area for a one day symposium on topics pertinent to the biomedical industry.
This event corresponds with the Clemson Homecoming Football game each fall. The Bioengineering Alumni Weekend events conclude with the traditional pre-game Pig Roast Tailgate which is held on the Cooper Library lawn.
For the fourth year in a row, the symposium is being organized by the Clemson University Research Foundation (CURF) and will be opened to the SC Upstate business and financial communities, and to local entrepreneurs.
